Trenton Drive to Whittier Drive. The intersection of Whittier and Wilshire serves as Beverly Hills’ western gateway, and the west entrance to the Beverly Gardens Park. This stretch of the park features classic plantings in monochromatic hues of green, as was often featured in gardens of the 1950’s. Lilly of the Nile, Azaleas, and Algerian Ivy are the principle shrubs and groundcover gracing this garden, which neighbors El Rodeo Elementary School. The City is currently working on a gateway project at the center meridian of this block to make this city entrance even more prominent (see photo below). The seating area in this garden features two metal benches.

This block needs your support to provide significant rehabilitation
and restore Beverly Hills history.
