Foothill Road to Alpine Drive. The specialty rose garden is one of the parks most popular
attractions. The popularity of roses dates back to the mid-1950s when the resurgence of
rose breeders raised exciting new varieties through adored older lines. This collection
of roses is enhanced by several park structures including a curvilinear pergola, decorative
benches, two dome metal trellises and an ornate water feature. Lighted bollards are
located throughout the rose planter beds for better night viewing.|
